Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of vehicle detailing services by KD Mobile Detailing("we", "our", "us") to the customer ("you", "your").

By booking, requesting, or receiving any service from KD Mobile Detailing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

These Terms apply to all services provided by KD Mobile Detailing unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Services Provided

KD Mobile Detailing is a mobile vehicle detailing business providing professional cleaning, restoration, and detailing services for cars, vans, SUVs, and other road vehicles.

Services may include:

• Exterior washing

• Wheel and tyre cleaning

• Paint decontamination

• Wax and sealant application

• Interior vacuuming

• Interior deep cleaning

• Upholstery cleaning

• Leather cleaning and conditioning

• Glass cleaning

• Engine bay cleaning (where agreed)

• Odour treatment

• Maintenance detailing

All services are subject to vehicle condition, weather conditions, availability, and operational requirements.

We reserve the right to modify, refuse, or discontinue any service where health, safety, or operational concerns arise.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All prices provided by KD Mobile Detailing are estimates based on information supplied by the customer.

Quoted prices assume that the vehicle is in a condition reasonably consistent with the description provided during booking.

Additional charges may apply where a vehicle requires significantly more time, labour, products, or specialist treatment than initially anticipated.

Examples include:

• Excessive pet hair

• Severe staining

• Excessive mud or contamination

• Mould treatment

• Biohazard cleaning

• Heavy odour removal

Where possible, customers will be informed before additional work is carried out.

All prices are stated in Pounds Sterling (£).

4. Bookings and Appointments

Bookings may be made through telephone, email, social media, messaging applications, or any other approved communication method.

Customers must provide accurate information regarding:

• Vehicle make and model

• Vehicle size

• Vehicle condition

• Service location

• Requested services

Failure to provide accurate information may result in revised pricing, delays, rescheduling, or cancellation of the appointment.

K & D Gold Detailing reserves the right to refuse any booking at its discretion.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

• The vehicle is available at the agreed time.

• The vehicle can be safely accessed.

• Adequate working space is available.

• The location is safe and legal for detailing work.

• All valuables have been removed from the vehicle.

Customers must remove all personal belongings, cash, jewellery, documents, electronics, and other valuables before the service begins.

KD Mobile Detailing accepts no responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, personal items left inside the vehicle.

6. Water and Electricity

As a mobile detailing service, we may require access to:

• A standard water supply

• A standard electrical outlet

Where access to utilities has been agreed in advance, customers are responsible for ensuring they remain available throughout the appointment.

Failure to provide agreed access may result in service delays, rescheduling, or cancellation charges.

7. Vehicle Condition and Existing Damage

Customers acknowledge that detailing and cleaning may reveal pre-existing defects that were previously concealed by dirt, contamination, oxidation, or neglect.

Examples include:

• Scratches

• Swirl marks

• Stone chips

• Paint fading

• Rust

• Clear coat failure

• Upholstery damage

• Cracked leather

• Interior wear

KD Mobile Detailing shall not be responsible for any pre-existing defects, damage, or deterioration present before the service commenced.

8. Photographs and Service Records

To maintain quality standards and protect both parties, K & D Gold Detailing may photograph vehicles before, during, and after service completion.

Photographs may be used for:

• Service records

• Insurance purposes

• Quality control

• Marketing and promotional content

Customers who do not consent to photographs being used for marketing purposes must notify us before work begins.

9. Biohazards and Unsafe Conditions

For health and safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where vehicles contain:

• Blood

• Human waste

• Bodily fluids

• Needles or sharps

• Drug paraphernalia

• Excessive mould

• Insect infestations

• Hazardous substances

If such conditions are discovered after work has commenced, the service may be terminated immediately and charges may still apply.

11. Service Limitations

While we strive to achieve the highest standards possible, some defects cannot always be completely removed.

These may include:

• Permanent staining

• Deep scratches

• Corrosion

• Paint defects

• Smoke damage

• Water damage

• Severe odours

No guarantee is given that all defects, stains, odours, or contamination can be completely removed.

Results will vary depending on vehicle age, condition, and maintenance history.

12. Payment Terms

We currently accept payment by:

• Cash

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Failure to make payment may result in:

• Refusal of future services

• Recovery of outstanding amounts

• Recovery of reasonable costs associated with debt collection where legally permitted

Ownership of any products applied during the service remains with KD Mobile Detailing until payment has been received in full.

13. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers are requested to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

Failure to provide reasonable notice may result in future bookings being declined.

Where our team arrives at the agreed location and the service cannot proceed due to customer-related circumstances, we reserve the right to charge for travel and time incurred.

14. Weather Conditions and Force Majeure

As a mobile detailing business, weather conditions can affect our ability to safely and effectively perform services.

Appointments may be postponed due to:

• Heavy rain

• Snow

• Ice

• High winds

• Flooding

• Extreme temperatures

KD Mobile Detailing shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These may include:

• Severe weather

• Vehicle breakdown

• Equipment failure

• Illness

• Road closures

• Utility outages

• Government restrictions

15. Customer Satisfaction and Complaints

Customer satisfaction is important to us.

Any concerns regarding completed work must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

We reserve the right to inspect the vehicle before determining an appropriate resolution.

Possible resolutions may include:

• Re-cleaning affected areas

• Partial refund

• Service credit

Refunds will not be provided where concerns relate to pre-existing defects, unrealistic expectations, or issues outside our control.

16. Limitation of Liability

K & D Gold Detailing will exercise reasonable care and skill when providing services.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Pre-existing vehicle damage

• Mechanical failures

• Electrical failures

• Normal wear and tear

• Loss of vehicle value

• Loss of use

• Consequential losses

• Personal belongings left within the vehicle

IMPORTANT LIABILITY LIMITATION

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.

17. Privacy

Customer information may be collected for:

• Booking management

• Communication

• Customer support

• Record keeping

• Invoicing

We will never sell customer information to third parties.

Information will only be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights.

18. Amendments

KD Mobile Detailing reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions will apply to future bookings and services.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
